Hi everyone! We're gonna try and post pictures of the boy here for a while and see if that's easier for us. Really, we take pictures occasionally. Unfortunately, our laptop is so old that it's a huge mission to get stuff downloaded and off to the internet where people can see them. We really thought we'd do it more often, but life, work, school, play, and an old cranky laptop seem to be regular obstacles. Here's a few pictures to whet your appetite. Auggie is doing well. He'll be sixteen months old this next week. He is walking, occasionally running, and getting all the scrapes and bruises that go along with that. Seems like he takes a "header" into something every 10 days to 2 weeks.... Luckily, we've had no emergency room visits yet. He is HUGE! Imagine him as the size of your average 2 year old. He had a doctors appointment last week where he measured out at the following:
height: 97th percentile
weight: 87th percentile
head circumference: still off the chart (he wears a bike helmet I usually sell to 3 and 4 year old children)
He weighs 27lbs, 10oz, and is 34 inches tall.
He has all sixteen baby teeth already.
So: tall, skinny, and lots of room for a big brain. Not too much talking yet. He says "no" for various things, talks to the cat by saying "meow", and he knows that dogs say "arf, arf". He has a pretty calm demeanor, and he gets along with most people just fine. Like most adults we know, he's totally fine as long as he eats enough and gets plenty of sleep.
That's it for now. Let us know what you think.
Rob.
