It's just a jump to the left, and then a step to the right....

We've got lots of music around here, so Auggie gets to listen to a pretty wide variety of stuff. And as you may remember from previous posts, he likes to dance and he's got some rythm. Recently, he's taken a liking to the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack, so his mother and I taught him to "Time Warp." He's also playing along with some songs using his recorder.

Here's some links for those who don't know about Rocky Horror or the Time Warp: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocky_Horror_Picture_Show

And here's some video of Auggie doing the Time Warp and playing his recorder: http://www.dropshots.com/redroset#date/2007-07-01/09:44:30

Life continues to be busy for our young bear. Here's some of what's been up:
1. Monster building with Duplo blocks
2. Lot's of book reading. We used to easily fit into this size file box.
3. At the old house we lived right next to a community park with a sandbox were we could dig and dig and dig. No such luck at the new place. We initially made do with a planter full of dirt, but we've finally created our own full size dirtbox in the backyard near the garden.
4. Grandma Judy took Auggie to Train Town since he likes trains so much. Unfortunately, he's not really ready to ride them yet. After he stopped crying, he said "Maybe I can ride them next year when I'm bigger."
5. We've extended Auggie's good eye/hand coordination to golf. He was having so much fun with it I got him a left handed, junior size 9 iron. Just like Tiger Woods, we wear the color red during the final round.
